Because the Australian Labradoodle is a rather new breed (about 40 years)
which remains in development, all breeding organizations stipulate mandatory
spaying or neutering of the dogs.

Breeders in Australia and America spay and neuter their dogs while they’re
still puppies. Some European breeders do likewise. Because in Switzerland this policy is not common, we handle this matter by contract instead.
We recommend neutering males between 1 and 1.5 years of age and females before their first heat at 6 to 7 months of age, or 3 months after their second heat. Please discuss this with your veterinarian.
