As mentioned elsewhere, the Australian Labradoodle is a very young breed (approx. 40 years old) that is still in development. The WALA breeding association stipulates that dogs that are not used
for breeding must be neutered or spayed, or, from 2026 onwards, sold with a breeding prohibition contract.
We regulate this issue contractually. If you plan to neuter your dog, we recommend neutering males at the age of 1-1.5 years and females before their first heat at the age of 6-7 months or 3
months after their second heat.
However, please discuss this with your veterinarian.
